IEEE Region 5 Annual conference took place in Wichita, KS over the weekend. Region 5 includes 31 sections and over 90 student branches. 13 students represented Missouri State University in the Circuits, Robotics, 3M-T, Cyber and Ethics competitions and over half took home prizes!

Thanks to Dr. Sanjay Tewari for representing the Cooperative Engineering Program at the MSU Spring Showcase for high school students. He helped many families learn about engineering as they visited with him about our program.

Out of 4 students receiving the award, senior Engineering at Missouri State/Missouri S&T student Anna LaMartina is the only Springfield recipient of the Neil Stueck Outstanding Senior Award! She will graduate in May with an S&T Civil Engineering degree from Missouri State. Congratulations, Anna!

On April 10th, Dr. Sanjay Tewari was honored with the Teaching & Service Achievement Award by S&T Academy of Civil Engineers. The award is named after Dr. Joseph H. Senne Jr., professor emeritus and former chair of civil engineering at S&T. Congrats Sanjay Tewari and well-deserved!
