We are disheartened to see this motion come forward to defund the important work supporting low-income tenants in #HamOnt . We stand by Hamilton Community Legal Clinic and implore all City councillors to vote against any motion that harms some of the most vulnerable residents of our city.

This is a motion not a notice of motion meaning that council can debate and vote on it even though it has only been available to community since last night. No one has the chance now to submit a written delegation or speak to this motion. How is that transparent and accountable?
