One of the best parts of my job is providing engaging, meaningful experiences to our students. The day was filled with joy and they were already begging for him to come back before he'd even left. Thank you for spending the day with us! ACE Creatives Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools Ephesus Elementary

Such a fun activity! After building and labeling, students took a picture of their Lego bug in Seesaw and added a recording explaining which category their bug fit into and why. Bailey Normann Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools

Such a great way to help students get interested and narrow down their research topics. I helped create an environmental activism explore board and facilitated the day of. Heavy lifting credit goes to our amazing librarian Bailey Normann!

Love being able to facilitate opportunities like this for my students and staff. Lee Ringer was fantastic to coordinate with, differentiated for the various levels of students, and was an engaging presenter. Highly recommend!

Love collaborating with Bailey Normann to create multifaceted lessons like this! Reading + SEL + computer science + movement all rolled into one π Ephesus Elementary Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools

#HourOfCode is one of my absolute favorite times of year! Pre-K did a great job and Bailey Normann and I are now having a blast so far working with all K-5 classes for the event. More pictures and videos to come!

3rd grade wrapped up their #HourOfCode this morning with Sphero bowling! They had to consider angles, speed, and time as part of their block coding to attempt to knock down pins on the not quite even library floor. 5th grade programmed Ozobot robots w/ drawn paths + color patterns for #HourofCode. Super creative with their designs, even teamed up to piece together larger paths. Also, had great ideas for improving the robots-attached marker + code stencils! Sara Cottrell Anderson Bailey Normann Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools

Our kinders programmed #BeeBot robots using directional arrows to move on a shape mat and in the Bee-Bot app for #HourofCode! Their skills have already grown so much, since starting with unplugged coding lessons a few weeks ago. Sara Cottrell Anderson Bailey Normann Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools
