Third grade is mapping out history! 🗺️✨ Our students just kicked off their 50 states and capitals adventure, starting with Texas and the Southwest region before heading to the Northeast to explore the origins of the United States. 🇺🇸✏️

Then & Now: Holy Eucharist at ESD ✝️✨ For 50 years, our community has gathered in worship, celebrating the Holy Eucharist as a core part of our Episcopal identity. While the faces and spaces may have changed, the tradition of faith, reflection, and togetherness remains the same.

Today, we remember that our virtue for this month is perseverance. At ESD, we are committed to becoming our best selves through hard work and self-discipline. Those who hope in the LORD Will renew their strength: They will soar on wings like eagles. (Isaiah 40.31)

During Black History Month, ESD came together to honor and celebrate the rich history, culture, and achievements of African Americans in so many meaningful ways. Let’s continue to lift up and learn from each other, not just this month, but every day. ✊🏾💫

During today's worship services, students were invited to receive the imposition of ashes or a blessing. Marking the first day of Lent, Ash Wednesday reminds us of our mortality and a call to repentance. "Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”

This week, our fourth grade eagles showcased their amazing creations at the Design Convention (formerly known as Invention Convention)! 🎉✨ It all began at the RoCs, where students shared their 'why' through a creative slideshow. Then, it was time for exploration!

✨This week, 23 rising ninth graders officially joined their future classmates during one of ESD’s most cherished traditions: Pass It On 🕯️ This tradition continues to remind us that the light of Christ dwells in each of us.
