After the fighting of January and February, 1.8 million people have returned to their land in eastern Congo. There is a tremendous opportunity for people here to build their future. The international community must end it’s chronic neglect of DR Congo

Jimmy lives in Shasha, DR Congo with his two children. Clashes have left many homes like his in ruins. When he received his shelter kit, he got to work immediately, repairing the home he and his family had fled over a year ago.
