Earlier this morning a team from Legal Resources Foundation Trust (LRF) & Kenya Institute of Puppet Theatre held a meeting to review progress of the implementation of the Voices For Just Climate Action Kenya Knowledge Grant supported by SouthSouthNorth. The is being implemented in Nairobi, Kajiado, Siaya, Kakamega & Mombasa Counties.


Today together with Legal Resources Foundation Trust (LRF) we came together to review progress on our joint program for expanding policy, advocacy and knowledge outcomes for sustainable political and community response to climate change in 5 counties Nairobi Kajiado Siaya Mombasa Kakamega


Earlier today, we had the courtesy of receiving Ms. Lesego Mahape, Project Administrator with SouthSouthNorth to review implementation of the Voices For Just Climate Action Kenya Knowledge Grant at our offices. The project is leveraging on Participatory Educational Theatre to amplify citizen voices.


Through the technical and financial support of KELIN, out MEAL Officer Paul Kauku joined other members of the NaSCI-AJS in Naivasha to develop the Midterm Alternative Justice Systems Kenya report.


We have partnered today with Hola The Judiciary Kenya through Voices For Just Climate Action program & financial support from Hivos Global to convene an ELC-CUC. Key highlights include deliberations on Environmental & Land Justice, Planning, & an awareness session on Alternative Justice Systems Kenya & Court Annexed Mediation.


Jointly with Kenya Institute of Puppet Theatre through the support of SouthSouthNorth & Voices For Just Climate Action we are conducting a puppetry training targeting puppeteers in Siaya County who in turn will lead climate education through creative lenses. Puppetry remains a powerful tool for social transformation.



Legal Resources Foundation Trust (LRF)& Hivos Global held a County FLLoCA Programs Audit Workshop on 19–20 May in Mombasa under the #VCAProject. Over 35 grassroots climate champions joined the FLLoCA Audit & Tracking Workshop to assess climate investments & ensure accountability. #ClimateJustice #FLLoCA #Mombasa
