The Hoover Athletics Girls 4x800 team (Maysen Fletcher, Jenna Brown, Audreé Born, and Isabella Harris) won a TheWVSSAC Class AA State Championship and set a new school record with a time of 9:51.

Herbert Hoover freshman Maysen Fletcher shattered the 20-year-old state meet record in the Class AA 3200 meter run. Fletcher crossed in 10:19.41, 38 seconds better than Rachel Buser's mark, set in 2005.

Another TheWVSSAC Class AA State Record for Hoover Athletics Maysen Fletcher in the 1600m. 4:53 broke the old record by 14 seconds.

Still in awe of the performance by @hhhs_sports’s Maysen Fletcher at @thewvssac 2025 State Track Meet. The freshman won 4 state championships (4x800m Relay, 3200m, 1600m, and 800m) with records in the 3200 and 1600. She was the Class AA Girls High Point winner.
