Happy to see our (with Jakub Stauber ) paper in print. We hope it will help to reinvigorate debates on pro and cons of All-volunteer vs. conscription based militaries (hopefully a timely issue amidst the current security challenges).

Our article analyses Moldova and Georgia’s hedging strategies against Russia and the West. We argue that while both countries seek to mitigate risks, their approaches differ significantly.
