An exciting #biometals investigation into molybdenum homeostasis and how this is disrupted by chromate in Pseudomonas aeruginosa with many unexpected findings. Great work by Eve Maunders Dalton Ngu Evelyne Deplazes and other collaborators not on Twitter. bit.ly/3wJ6Q2g

From Australian summer to Austrian winter. Wonderful, albeit chilly, week at ABC2025 with the McDevitt Laboratory. Great to hear so many fantastic talks on ABCtransporters (especially the prokaryotic ones) and watch Christopher McDevitt give his plenary. All amongst the snow-related fun!

What a fun introduction to the world of marine ecology at the @ace_uq Marine Ecogenomics Symposium! Fascinating talks, and after years exploring the impact of metals at the host-pathogen interface, it was great to hear about their effects on reef health.
