After a bit of a hiatus on X, I return with an autumnal-looking front cover of a brilliant book, finished today after our CILIP SLG committee meeting. It was such a good read-perfect as the nights draw in-a rich mix of history, suspense magical fantasy and lots to think about🌰🍂

Just home from a gorgeous book launch in The Gutter Bookshop celebrating Susan Cahill’s stunning children’s novel, The World Between the Rain. Fireworks hammered outside, but as soon as Susan began to read you could hear a pin drop inside the jam packed shop 🙌 Huge congrats, Susan!
