Came across a strong contender for my beer of the year the other night at Evening Star. It’s CrakBrewery Amber After Sauna, an amber kellerbier, with Amarillo. Italian brewery + German beer style + US hops -> malty, rich & tasty with a clean finish. Perfect on a muggy night.

We that was rather an unusual evening. But TONIGHT from 5 we’ve award-winning Basqueland Brewing in the house. We’ll be pouring 8 lines of delicious Basqueland beers, imperial stouts, sours, lots of gorgeous IPA. Merch & beers in hourly mini raffles leading up to our main draw at 9.

I got absolutely drenched in the rain last night on my way home from Evening Star, but - like the Ready Brek kids of the ‘70s & ‘80s - I was kept warm from within by this pint of burningskybeer Inclination American Brown Ale that I supped before I sallied forth.
