Excited to shared our recent piece in Journal of Clinical Oncology on Evolutionary Dynamics and 'Intermittent Therapy' for Metastatic Cancers ascopubs.org/doi/full/10.12… with jc Joel Brown and Bob #Gatenby where we discuss the impact of the induction period Moffitt Cancer Center Centre for Evolutionary Therapy

Todays Centre for Evolutionary Therapy seminar was a double act led by our very own Joel Brown Joel Brown and Ken Tsai Kenneth Y. Tsai presenting an update on a pilot project funded through the CoE: A UV-induced skin cancer mouse model for testing evolutionary therapies. IMO Moffitt Cancer Center

Then it's our very own Bob #Gatenby IMO Moffitt Cancer Center presenting, Integrating evolutionary mathematical models into clinical trials. Highlighting results from his Centre for Evolutionary Therapy pilot trial on Metastatic castrate resistant prostate cancer #TranslationalSysBio

Todays IMO research is from #AndersonLab coder and gui-guru Paul Llamas presenting, Automated Modeling Framework for Lesion and Treatment Analysis Centre for Evolutionary Therapy Moffitt Cancer Center

This week in #MathOnco 269: IMO Workshop and more... Artwork by Sandy Anderson, Jill Gallaher, Chandler Gatenbee 😎💯 Sign up for the newsletter here: mathematical-oncology.org/newsletter

Thanks to an incredible collaborative team of scientists including Bob #Gatenby @dbasanta Andriy Marusyk Amer Beg Mark R-T Joel Brown Jhanelle Gray MD Renee Brady Jeffrey West Sandhya Prabhakaran Chandler Gatenbee & more, IMO will be part of the @NCIsysbio program for the next 5 years!

Super excited to share our new paper in Annals of Oncology on why, Treatment of evolving cancers will require dynamic decision support. An #AndersonLab collab led by the brilliant Maximilian Strobl & Jill Gallaher with Mark R-T & Jeffrey West. Very proud of this piece! protect-us.mimecast.com/s/OPkaCqxAwBTj…

Today’s Centre for Evolutionary Therapy seminar is from a collaboration between Jeffrey West & Kimberly Luddy along with The Gatenby Lab & Cliona O'Farrelly discussing, Evolutionary double-bind treatment using radiotherapy and NK cell-based immunotherapy in prostate cancer IMO Moffitt Cancer Center

Today we kick off our new joint Centre for Evolutionary Therapy and @NCIsysbio Center seminar series: Quantitative delta ecology and evolution or #QDelta for short. Our 1st seminar is from Dr. Masanobu Komatsu: Drug induction of tertiary lymphoid structure in tumors and its therapeutic benefit.

Todays IMO research in progress is from #AndersonLab veteran and creative guru Jill Gallaher presenting new results from our on going Centre for Evolutionary Therapy trial: Developing a data to decision support pipeline for advanced basal cell carcinoma adaptive therapy.

Today is the #MoffittScientificSymposium and the #AndersonLab had posters from Jill Gallaher & Masud m.a. on our Centre for Evolutionary Therapy trial with Genentech on Basal Cell Carcinoma, as well as a poster from new PhD student Agata Xella on plasticity and drug resistance IMO Moffitt Cancer Center

Very happy to share our beautiful integrated Cell Systems paper led by the brilliant Maximilian Strobl doing both the modelling and experiments, To modulate or to skip: De-escalating PARP inhibitor maintenance therapy in ovarian cancer using adaptive therapy authors.elsevier.com/a/1j7JE8YyDfql…

We are on the cover of Cell Systems! Cool collaborative paper led by the brilliant Maximilian Strobl with @mehdiDamaghi Philip Maini Robert Wenham Jeffrey West Jill Gallaher Mark R-T The Gatenby Lab. A special shout out Centre for Evolutionary Therapy for partially funding this project! IMO Moffitt Cancer Center

Could we use deep learning to personalize cancer treatment schedules? We explore this in castrate-resistant prostate cancer, in a new paper out in Cancer Research Cancer Research: doi.org/10.1158/0008-5… A tweetorial (or should I now say an eXposition?) [1/11]

Insightful new Cancer Research paper led by #AndersonLab rising star Kit Gallagher on using DRL to uncover more personalised adaptive therapies. Key takeaway: Every patient should have their own treatment switch threshold! Also the cover that could have been but never was, maybe next time👇

Interested in the evolution of drug resistance? Or working with animal models & clinical data to implement new a Centre for Evolutionary Therapy for NSCLC? The #AndersonLab is hiring a postdoc to work in IMO on our @NCIsysbio U54: The Delta Ecology of NSCLC. More here: labpages.moffitt.org/andersona/jobs…

Todays Centre for Evolutionary Therapy seminar is from our own Renee Brady discussing results from pilot funding provided by our Center of Excellence on, Using PROs to optimize treatment timing IMO Moffitt Cancer Center
