This little fox kit is ready to take on the world! Although super cute, fox kits are surprisingly stinky. Their smell has been compared to that of a skunk and is used to mark territories and attract mates when they are old enough. Photo by Exposed Co-Founder John E Marriott Photography

As we look into the eyes of this magnificent grizzly bear, we find a deep connection to the primal instincts and ancient wisdom that have guided these creatures for centuries. We have much to learn from animals if we take a moment to stop, listen, and observe. 📷: John E Marriott Photography

The magnificent Khutzeymateen, Canada's only grizzly bear sanctuary. It's my hope that one day we not only have more grizzly sanctuaries, but also wolf, cougar and even wolverine sanctuaries/refuges where the needs of these apex predators takes priority.

Minister Loewen says the amendments don't change anything and that it's not a hunt. But yet he just admitted that "the public wildlife management responders" will be able to keep the bears they kill... How is this not a trophy hunt?!?! cbc.ca/news/canada/ca…
