During Thaïs campaign, our aim is to record the architectural diversity of the tombs according to their environment, and to collect samples to date them.

There are nearly 3000 tombs identified by remote-sensing survey in the Bisya region and we are spotting New ones every day during our field surveys!

Today we recorded some very well preserved tombs on the top of a mountain. The tombs and landscape were breathtaking. The tallest tomb is 3.20m high and no entrance was observed. We wonder if access to the chamber has been gained from the top of the tombs. #Arabiancairns
