Not the day for the ladies today, although 2-2 at full time, a strong Pwllheli side came out on top in extra time.

Before today’s game, the ladies were presented with their trophy for winning the North East Women’s League.

Tonight the ladies visited Penybont ladies for the annual Penybont cup for the second year in a row. A great game of football, a 6-2 win for Berriew secured the trophy. 🏆

Berriew can confirm our first summer signing is experienced former Welshpool, Caersws, Guilsfield, and Holywell Town defender Jonathan Jones. Jon returns to the club for a second spell after making 58 appearances first time round. Welcome back JJ 🔥

NEW SIGNING: Also joining the playing staff this season is former Welshpool, Cefn Druids and Isle of Man National team goalkeeper Grant Dawson. In addition to his coaching role, veteran “Daws” will provide backup in the goalkeeping department!

We are delighted to announce the signing of Tom Davies from fellow Central Wales League North side Abermule. The 23 yr old former Shrewsbury Town and Newtown youngster is undoubtedly one of the best midfielders in the league and strengthens us to push for honours this year

NEW SIGNING: A 7th addition for the Rhiewsiders, with the signing of keeper Ryan Edkins. The 29 year old returns to the club after a spell out of the game, strengthening the goalkeeping department. Edkins made 66 apps & kept 20 clean sheets in his last spell at the club.
