A moving personal story from my @UMichSPH colleague @minalrp. In the US 805,000 people have heart attacks each year. The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates 80% of these cases are preventable -- a staggering gap between what's possible and what's happening.

Pollen seasons continue to get longer and more intense. A study from my colleagues in @UMichSPH, @UMISR and @UMEngineering found that high levels of certain pollen were linked to increased risk of death from breathing problems.
