This is the reality of the shrinking of the civic space of today’s Europe: minorities fearing for their safety and having to fight for their right to participate to the @ep_eye EU Policymakers can’t stand still in front of violations of basic human rights!

Islamophobia at the European Parliament is unacceptable. FEMYSO is an org that empowers youth to engage with the institutions and champions EU values of equality, justice and active citizenship! We thank the MEPs and allies that are standing against this blatant defamation.

We are proud to have taken part again at European Youth Event, a space meant to amplify the voices of young people from across the continent. For the third consecutive year, our delegation faced targeted harassment from far-right actors. We will continue our work for a vibrant Europe.

The far-right tried to silence us. We showed up louder. Muslim youth belong in Europe — and we’re building its future. 💪🏽🌍 Watch our story and support the movement: 🧡 femyso.org/donate/

PRESS RELEASE: We are devastated by the racist and Islamophobic murder of Rahma Ayad, a 26-year-old nursing student in Germany. This is not an isolated tragedy; it is part of a wider, systemic failure to protect visibly Muslim women across Europe.
