If the FGSD proposed bond measure 34-320 passes, the State of Oregon will award a matching funds grant of $6.7 million to help fund Bond projects. The District would only receive the grant if the bond measure passes. Learn more at: forestgroveschoolbond.com

FGSD recognizes National School Counseling Week. The theme this year is Helping Students Dream Big. Every great success starts with a dream. Throughout this week we’ll highlight ways school counselors dream big and support others’ in making their dreams a reality. Stay tuned!

The dream of our comprehensive school counseling team is that every student feels supported and welcome. That we treat each other with kindness, embracing and celebrating our differences, listening and learning from each other.

As school counselors, our goal is to help ensure students are ready for what comes next –whether that’s college or career. And that can start as early as kindergarten. As they engage in school work, they discover what gives them joy, what sparks their interest and their talents.

Due to inclement weather, all district schools and the district office are closed for Thursday, February 23, 2023. All school sponsored events and activities are also canceled.
