Hello, we are FITTER – research project funded by the European Commission. FITTER aims to contribute to existing research on the origins, dynamics and determinants of inequalities and enable anticipatory governance to support a fair and inclusive twin transition in Europe.#FITTER

On 6th and 7th of February a FITTER Kick-off meeting was held in Dublin. During the meeting the planned Work Packages has been discussed and activities of involved partners aligned. It is worth mentioning that this was the initial in-person meeting of the whole consortium.#FITTER

Began, Feb 24, FITTER-EU is making great strides, led by TU Dublin Equality, Diversity, & Inclusion aiming to contribute to existing research on the origins, dynamics and determinants of inequalities and enable anticipatory governance to support a fair and inclusive twin transition in Europe. #FITTER project was actively involved in the #ICE24 conference that took place at the end of June in Madeira, both as supporter and presenter. The FITTER paper summarized the project ideas, implementation strategy and some relevant challenges of #twin_transition.

Last week Laura Armayones from #Eurecat introduced #FITTER_EU scenario-based approach to study the impacts of the twin transition on some key sectors and vulnerable groups at the "Elevate Your Innovation with EU Projects" event, organized by the Mobile World Capital Foundation.

On 16th of September, a kick-off meeting of the WP5 focused on tasks related to design and development of the #FITTER Digital Platform took place. Meeting with active involvement of #AITEC, #EURECAT, #TUDublin and #SFC resulted in fruitful discussion and a set of to-do tasks.

An online #FITTER_EU Workshop “Twin transitions and associated vulnerabilities” with experts from Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Spain takes place today. The agenda includes discussion on challenges, opportunities, knowledge gaps of fair and inclusive twin transition

As a part of dissemination activities #FITTER represented by #SFC introduced the vision of the FITTER Digital Platform and collaborative approach to assess challenges of vulnerable communities in the context of twin transition during the event on 8-11 September in Varna, Bulgaria

The #LLSF Students Winter School and Living Labs with the focus on skills for the 4th industrial revolution took place in Lisbon from October 7 to 11. #FITTER_EU is introduced during the event and a separate session is allocated to foster collaboration between FITTER and #AI_DAPT
