1: PLAYERS Yes, you need players to win. Put talent only sets the floor. It does not set the ceiling. And you can’t just wait or wish for players, either. Player development has a role. Commitment has a role. We use our 300-Hour Club Off-Season Program.

2: CULTURE WINS A strong, winning culture can make a good team great. A strong culture can make a mediocre team good. Culture matters. Developing it is the #1 job of any Coach. Culture is: 1. What you Allow 2. What you Emphasize 3. Every Day

3: COMMITMENT Great programs always have a culture of commitment and buy-in. Everything starts with commitment. Committed players create a standard that becomes contagious in a winning program. Committed players = Committed teams Committed teams = Winning teams

4: CONSISTENCY Winning is not a "sometimes" thing. Winning is a lifestyle - it is a daily choice. Winning programs know that in order to win in the long term, you have to “Win Every Day.” Consistency comes from the coaching staff, the system, and the culture. It matters.

5: LEADERSHIP Finally, Leadership Matters. A lot. Player-Led Teams Win. And leaders are the "Gatekeepers" of the program culture. Great Coaches: - Build leaders each year and every day. - Have a systemic plan for leadership. This is why I created the Team Leader OS.

Things will get difficult. They will get uncomfortable. There will be adversity and obstacles and fear. That’s life on the path of growth. Belief looks for a way forward, doubt looks for a way out. Believe in yourself, your team, and the vision. Belief is the driver.

“Noah didn’t stop building the ark to explain himself to every doubter.” He just simply kept building! Folks are going to doubt, question, and not believe in your ARK (program/brand) that you’re building, but don’t you stop: KEEP BUILDING! ~ via Coach Gant (AIC & CIC) 🏈

The GREATEST sports parents are those who let the coaches coach, the officials officiate, are their children’s biggest support system, and spend more time and energy focusing on their child’s character, work ethic, and education, than anything else. ~from Coach Hines 🇺🇸
