Blasting Off Spencer Borden The excitement was sky high- as 5th graders took science to the school’s Main Entrance for a hands-on experiment in chemical reactions. The mission was to launch rockets as high as the flagpole, but the results were nothing but full-on unforgettable fun!

Big congrats to Durfee High School students Laisha Boone, Lillian DaPonte, & Omar Mahmoud. 3 of 25 students in the entire state to receive the prestigious Christian A. Herter Memorial Scholarship, which covers up to 50% of a student’s financial need at any accredited college in the US
