The record which has stood for 25 years was beaten by an outstanding performance from Madison with a time of 2:10:11!

It was a wet and windy start to our Silver Duke of Edinburgh Expedition in the Mournes yesterday!

All groups completed their routes in tough conditions and made it to camp.

It was a much better start to today and a great chance to dry some of the coats off! ☀️

Our Silver groups are enjoying much better conditions today and making great progress. The Red Team have even removed some stray signage from the Mournes!

Pupils enjoyed a non uniform day today to raise funds for the NI Children’s Hospice.

Year 8 pupils embarked on their History Trip today to Dundrum Castle.

The Year 13 Saphara Team from Friends’ took part in a just “Welcome Day“ event at Stranmillis University College with sixth formers from Assumption Grammar and Aquinas Grammar. Seventy seven P5 children from two local primary schools attended. #saphara_bethechange

Some of our Year 11 Girls attended the Queen’s University “Girls in Maths and Physics” event last week. The programme aims to inspire young female and gender minority mathematicians and physicists to consider a career in these areas.
