Last night, the Soaring to Success Athletic Awards Night went off without a hitch! We will continue celebrating this past year by sharing our award winners! First up is the Kruczek Award. This award is given to an individual who has overcome adversity in life.

Next is the Sue Lauder Leadership Award. This is given to Student-Athletes who demonstrate outstanding leadership both on and off the playing surface.

Next is the Rookies of the Year! Sam Jones and Justin Job received this year's ROTY Awards.

Next, we celebrated two of our top team's coaching staff with this year's Coaching Staff of the Year Awards! This year it was men's ice hockey and field hockey!

Next, we had our Senior Scholar Athlete Awards! This year, we had four total, all with impressive GPAs.

Finally, we had the Paul Waring Athlete of the Year Awards! This year, two incredible student-athletes earned their awards: Autumn Tibbetts from field hockey and lacrosse, and Liam Bourassa from track and field.

Fitchburg State Men's Outdoor Track & Field junior Liam Bourassa was recently named MASCAC MOTK Field Athlete of the Week after taking top honors in the javelin as well finishing 4th in the shotput, 7th in the hammer throw and 11th in the discus at the 2025 DIII NE Championships.

Jess St. George earned a spot on the MASCAC All-Conference Second Team after her performance this year for the Falcons at her midfield position.

Abt and Hurrell made it onto the MASCAC All-Conference Second Team for baseball!

Fitchburg State junior Liam Bourassa recently earned the Frank Seabsteanski Award after placing first overall at the 2025 DIII New England Championships with a meet and facility record throw of 68.88 meters, while earning All-Region honors in the javelin, hammer throw and shotput

Fitchburg State senior Cameron Monette finished sixth overall in the hammer throw for the Green and Gold with a toss of 48.41 meters as the Falcons competed at the 2025 MIT Final Qualifier this afternoon.

Day two! It’s almost 50% sanded down to just the wood! Next week should see the volleyball court rotated and the first coat of sealer!

Not a lot of sanding left after two days of work!
