Penguins Class had a brilliant day on Financial Friday learning all about money, where it comes from, what we need vs what we want and all the different ways adults can get money. We also learnt about how many jobs our parents do for us that pay them nothing! 🐧

Dolphins class investigated changes materials today in science (as part of outdoor learning) by using vinegar and bicarbonate of soda to create a gas that inflated a balloon! We also separated mixtures. 🐬#science #outdoorlearning

This week in the Rainbow room we have enjoyed singing wheels on the bus and reading about Jack and the beanstalk. We created our own beanstalk and measured ourselves to see how big we are! 🚌🫘🌈

Children's Mental Health Week 2024 - "My Voice Matters". Penguins Class have enjoyed talking about why we all matter, what makes us unique and how we are all so special.🐧

This week in nursery we have been reading Jack and the JellybeanStalk. On Wednesday we discovered giant footprints in our class. On Thursday we found lots of white feathers and today we had a basket delivered from Jack. In it was a golden egg filled with juicy jellybeans!

Dolphins class went on a Geography field trip before half-term to investigate how litter is impacting our environment. We saw lots of litter, single use plastics and even an old fridge! #Geography 🐬

Penguins Class are having lots of fun in our Design and Technology lessons where we are building up to making a book with moving parts. We are getting very good at creating moving parts using levers and linkages. 🐧
