Accept coaching! Be accountable! Your coach's job is to get you to play as well as you can, not make you feel good about playing bad!

Intense skill work and practices aren't for everyone, but then again neither is winning, playing time, and performing under pressure.

Always tough when a season comes to an end. Proud of the way the guys battled tonight and all season. Seniors, thank you for your leadership all season long!

“He was on the furthest court that you could be on. I went over there and was trying to drink my coffee and wake up, and this guy is pressing at 8 a.m. No one else on his team is pressing, just him.” 🎙 Coach Huggins on recruiting Jevon Carter ⬇️

Players: When your “this season” ends, your “next season” begins. Now is the time when you earn the 2018-2019 championship! 🏆 One day at a time!

Players: Shooting can add up: 200 extra shots x 5 days a week x 50 wks a year= 50,000 extra shots a year 400 extra shots x 5 days a week x 50 wks a year= 100,000 extra shots a year How could U not be a great shooter taking an extra 100,000 shots a year? Why aren’t U doing it?

Jon Beck (@coachjonbeck) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Players: No excuse for not being a good shooter. Practice! There’s never been a great shooter who didn’t shoot every day. But U can’t be a casual shooter. Pay attention to mechanics, footwork & progressing to the point where U are taking game shots, from game spots at game speed.

5 reasons games are WON: 1-Limit Turnovers 2-Good Shot Selection 3-High Defensive Pressure 4-Good Transition Defense 5-Quality Rebounding

PLAYERS: Next time you’re annoyed your coach holds you accounatable for effort and attitude and asks that you bring your very best in practice and in games day after day...ask yourself this: Would you rather play for a coach that doesn’t care?

Jon Beck (@coachjonbeck) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Players: If you are playing more than U are working on your skill then something is wrong. 60 games a summer & only practicing 5 times is like guessing through every question on the test. 60 games won’t get your jump shot better. Spend time working on your skill this off season.

In the fall of his senior season, Steele Senske would wake up at 5 a.m. and work on his game at Courts Plus 4-5 days a week before school. x.com/FalconsBBB/sta…

Players: Great shooters make 85% of unguarded 3’s in drills. Good shooters make 70%. All others are average at best. Comfortable, confident, consistent. ~ Drew Hanlen
