The South High School track is being replaced this summer. Last week, a crew pulled the football field turf back away from the track so that they could begin work on the new track.

Discovery Middle School hosted Fargo Strings Camp last week for FPS orchestra students in Grades 6-8. It was the largest camp on record with 108 students on violin, viola, cello, and bass and culminated with a concert last Friday.

Students at Ben Franklin Middle School raised nearly $2,000 for Special Education Teacher Aya Pandan as her son undergoes treatment for leukemia. As a reward, students watched SRO Josh Horner and Dean of Students Jake Snyder get pied on the last day of school.

The students in Elizabeth Scott’s Sewing and Textile Arts class, at Davies High School, spent the past 6 weeks of the school year making quilted projects. They began learning with a nine-patch pillow and then moved on to their own designed, final projects.
