We had a wonderful day celebrating VE day yesterday by having a picnic and sports day 🤝 It's not often we have chance to down tools and celebrate, a great time was had by all 😀

Keeping on top of the watering during this dry spell has been no easy task! Luckily the horticulture team have it all under control ☔

Yummy treats incoming at Berry's Cafe! The catering group spend different amount of times in Berry's Cafe and The Roost giving all the project workers the opportunities to work in different kitchens and develop their confidence serving customers 🤝

The flies are really starting to bother the horses with the warmer weather, so its fly masks on and in the stables during the day for a bit of respite for them before returning out in the evening 🐴

There are so many talented individuals at the farm. Look at this fabulous decorative chopping board making its way into the shop soon 🐦 The craft team are working hard to keep up with demand on items as we often sell so much over the weekends 😀

The woodland team have been working hard to get the pathways ready for our weddings this year. The weddings are an additional source of income which allow us to re-invest and develop the farm further for all that attend 🙌

A lot of our animals are still loosing their 'winter woolies' and so have found the recent hot weather not much fun! Shady spots and time out of the sun have made all the difference! The sheep are looking forward to being sheared next week!

Keeping the gardens hydrated across the farm has been a mammoth task for the horticulture team. We have the kitchen garden, recycled, and sensory gardens as well as an abundance of pots dotted around. Well done team for keeping everything looking so lush ☀️

The horticulture team have been out planting up beds at Eastcote last week 💮 There has been a lot of hard work behind the scenes potting up plants and keeping them fed and watered before finally being planted out 🙌

The natural world college group have been learning about invertebrates focusing on honey bees as we have our own hives on the farm. The group had the chance to try on some of the bee keeping suits used when tending to the bees 🐝

Developing catering, customer service and life skills in Berry's Café 🧑‍🍳 The catering team spend time in both Berry's and The Roost's kitchen so that they are learning a wide range of catering skills in different environments 👏
