I'm hosting a new series with Beaver Trust about the wonderful world of beavers! If you have questions about their biology, ecology, behaviour and impacts then this is the place to go! It's great to have them back where they belong. Let's continue to reintroduce and strengthen

Neat video clip here from Roger Auster, of a Sea #Trout successfully traversing a #Beaver dam in SW England. After the second (large) fish leaps, you can see the ripples in the smooth water right of centre on the crest of the dam as it powers through.

Please sign this petition to save a beautiful wildflower meadow from being turned into a massive commercial allotment with parking for 70 cars. It’s next to Leigh Woods National Nature Reserve and SSSI so an important part of the wider ecosystem.

I meet many non-farming groups & often ask them what % of emissions they think come from Ag. Response always 50-80% ā€˜because that’s the impression we get from media’. (Real figure c.10%). So dangerous, as society then ignores the real issue it needs to face - fossil fuels.

Councils not only don't have the money to pay for Ragwort removal, but have also realised that Ragwort is a native wild plant which is very valuable to other wildlife. Growing on road verges it creates no risk to livestock. Other landowners still hoik it out, mainly for PR though

Amazing how much benefit to nature on farms the ELMS subsidies have achieved. We’ve taken back control of our farming policy - the only positive from Brexit that I’ve seen so far. theguardian.com/environment/ar…
