My dad #KereAhmed was a broadcaster, that meant that growing up, we all had a voice and he listened. He’d even allow you argue why a rule was unfair. He saw children. All my cousins had nicknames. I also remember him and his friends chanting ‘sisi Lagos’ whilst I strutted 😂

It didn’t matter who my dad was with at meal time, & believe me, #KereAhmed had friends! Whoever was present had to accept that his children would be present too, to either sing or dance for a piece pf meat 😂. I am sure it’s why to this day, I can speak before any crowd unfazed.
