Thrilled to be at #SABCS2022 discussing exciting new data and catching up with colleagues! What an incredible time to start a career in breast oncology — much progress and much more that needs to be done for our patients. Excited to be a part of it! #bcsm

Monarch-3 is complicated, huh #SABCS23 friends? Monarch-3 was small (n=493) [Paloma2 n=666, MonaLeesa2 n=668] 13.1 month improvement OS, did not reach statistical significance ⚖️If it had been larger n, would the stats have tipped? 🎨In clinic, we practice the art of medicine

#OncTwitter presentations would change if speakers had months of grade 2 diarrhea (⬆️ of 4-6 stools per day over baseline, limiting key activities of daily living) or grade 2 mucositis (moderate pain/ulcer, need modified diet). We need more patient #advocacy at 🎤. #SABCS23

My sincere thanks SABCS! We have come a long way in TNBC and it felt great to share a summary of all of those advances today. We will keep striving 🙌🏻 #SABCS23

Based on 4 simulation models, breast cancer screening, treatment of stage I to III breast cancer, and treatment of metastatic breast cancer were associated with reduced breast cancer mortality between 1975 and 2019 in the US. ja.ma/47EB7zR

Overlapping KM curves can sometimes be great news. In the phase 3 JBCRG-M06 trial, eribulin+HP had non-inferior PFS compared with taxane+HP in 1L HER2 MBC, with differentiated tox profile. New reasonable combination option in this setting. Congrats to the Japanese colleagues.

As my thoughtful colleagues provide advice for #ASCO25 attendees, here’s a list of stupid stuff to avoid (guilty as charged) #fiASCO 1. Wearing cute shoes. Just no. 2. Scheduling meetings in the right time zone-I screw this up and have overlapping meetings at least once a year

Deborah Doroshow (@ddoroshow) 's Twitter Profile Photo

3. Having meetings in Hall E (or Severance Hall as Joshua Reuss has deemed it). You may never return. 4. Forgetting that McCormick has no Coca Cola products. No, Diet Pepsi is not ok. 5. Signing up for a bunch of conflicting receptions with no actual plan

Deborah Doroshow (@ddoroshow) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Joshua Reuss 6. Settling for lattes in the exhibition hall. You can do so much better (eyes on you dippin dots ppl) 7. Waiting in the Starbucks line. I have never gotten to the front. It might not exist. 8. Not bringing your business cards after forgetting them the last 3 yrs in a row

Destiny-Breast-09 will likely establish a new first-line therapy for HER2+ MBC. Here are my considerations going into #ASCO25 Patient population considerations: 1) De novo patients (capped at 50%): these patients are more likely to respond durably and possibly even be cured in

Traveling w/ mixed emotions to @asco #asco25 this yr. Celebrating science & the yrs of dedication, work, & patient contributions to cancer clinical trials. But science itself is under attack — defunding of preclinical discovery work will end up slowing our clinical advances. 1/n
