The Beech hedge planted by our volunteers to hide the unsightly boundary wall along the church grounds is thriving. Just look at the difference it’s making to the area already. Thanks to Wexford County Council for providing the Beech saplings under the ‘free trees for Wexford scheme’.

The skeps (giant beenives) have arrived 🐝 The wonderful carved sculpture by Bedwyr Williams has arrived in Historic Ferns . The new piece of public art titled ‘The Little Things’ will link St Davids in Wales with Ferns. Wexford County Council Ancient Connections


The Clone Rd. Residents, Ferns Tidy Towns, and students from St. Edan’s have picked a total of 30 bags of litter from the River Bann as part of NationalSpringClean . Please be responsible and stop throwing household rubbish over the bridge and #leavenotrace when you visit the river
