Happy first night of Passover to our neighbors who are gathering together to celebrate a Seder meal. Many of our member food banks help our neighbors put culturally-preferred food, including kosher food, on their tables so they can observe their traditions with dignity and joy.

Thank you to PA Dairy Princess and Promotion Services for hosting the 2nd Annual Moovin for Milk 5k to benefit our Fill a Glass with Hope charitable milk program, a partnership with American Dairy North East and PA Dairymen’s Association. The event raised $2,200 to benefit families facing hunger.

Strengthening federal food programs helps ensure that no one in our country goes hungry. As the farm bill process progresses, we need Congress to pass a bipartisan bill that strengthens and protects the federal nutrition programs that help to support our neighbors facing hunger.

From July 20th through the end of September, cities throughout PA are hosting Disability Pride Month Events. Each Disability Pride Event includes arts demonstrations, live music, food trucks, games, activities, resource tables, and sensory-friendly spaces.

Last week, the tenth anniversary of Fill a Glass with Hope was celebrated at the PA Farm Show. Because of generous donations from sponsors, the program will be able to provide over 726,000 servings of fresh milk to Pennsylvanians facing hunger in 2025.
