Our programme will be producing a toolkit or resource for service providers giving guidance to transform service provision for female veterans. Let us know if you can recommend a toolkit that you use in your current work. We'd love to have some more examples of best practice!

Our Programme Lead attended the Female Veterans Alliance Female Veterans Alliance workshop in Wales yesterday. This was a fantastic event hearing the views, opinions and experiences of female veterans and how things can be improved in the future. Thank you for the invite!

Our Programme lead , Liza Jarvis, spoke at the Armed Forces Covenant Trust Conference yesterday. It was great to see Female veterans front and centre at the event. Collaboration and partnership are key parts of our work so it was fantastic to see so much interest in what we do.

The Centre for Military Women’s Research are running their Military Women’s Health and Wellbeing conference. Last year, it was amazing to attend and will surely be great again. They are also looking for abstract submissions so follow the information below to find out how to book.

We’ve had another busy week. We held our toolkit development focus group, presented at the Somerset AFC conference and attended the Armed Forces Covenant Conference in Winchester. Networking and collaboration are essential to the success of the programme so thank you to everyone.

This week we held the last in our series of focus groups. Thank you so much to everyone who completed a questionnaire, took part in a focus group or encouraged others to get involved. Watch this space for the feedback and findings which we hope to publish really soon.
