Police Scotland recorded 1,115 uses of force against children between April 2023 - March 2024. Scrutiny by Children and Young People's Commissioner Scotland is important, it's also worth reflecting that in the exact same period, the PSNI recorded almost 1,400 uses of force on (a smaller total population of) children in NI
