Ferris Day of #TexasRelays with a couple of season bests for both genders in the 4x400. Aiden Soria clocking a 50.80 anchor on the boys side. Arieanna Jefferson finished 4th in LJ with an 19ft 2in 3/4. We are ready for day 2!!

Area Meet for #FerrisHS Lady Jackets!! After the conclusion of field events we have an Area Champion in TJ, LJ, & PV and an area runner-up in HJ. Arieanna Jefferson TJ 40’, LJ 19’4 3/4, HJ 5’4” #FelicityLyons 11’6”! Brooke Pearson LJ 16’1 5th Great start ladies!

On the men’s side we have an Area Champion & runner-up in the TJ with 2 pr’s #OmariTyner 44’2 1/4 #AidenSoria 43’1!! Coaches are over here w/ tears in their eyes!! Congrats #FerrisHs Yellowjackets!!

Area Running Results: Lady Jacket & Yellowjacket relays have advanced to regionals! Women’s 4x1 & Men’s 4x2 and 4x4! Congrats to all teams! In the open events we also had Brooke Pearson qualify in the 100mH & #SavianDaniels qualify in the open 200m!

Regional Meet Day!! Arieanna Jefferson jumped out with a great start in LJ with a distance of 20’6” the 2nd best jump in the NATION!! Our #FerrisHS jumper was focused on executing today & it paid off. Great Job Ari!

We are so proud of Jr. #FelicityLyons on her valiant effort at Pole Vault today. She cleared 11ft & placed 4th at the Div 4A #UILRegion 2 track meet here in #Commerce Texas. This season she captured the #Ferris school record, cleared a new best of 11’6”, & captured a meet record.

LadyJacket 4x1 Relay ran a 48.84 in prelims today qualifying them in 5th place as they head into finals tomorrow at 3pm. We love watching relays come together to get the job done!

Collectively our relays ran with integrity & pushed hard to the very end. Girls 4x1 finished 6th overall, Boys 4x2 finished 10th, & 4x4 finished 13th. We’ve come a long way this season & with the majority of the team being underclassmen- we are very excited to see them grow!

Junior Omari Tyner & sophomore Aiden both closed out their season today with Triple Jump. Aiden finished 11th & Omari finished 12th among a lot tough competition in Region 2. These 2 are just getting started so we are sure to see more of them next year! Great season gentlemen!
