When somebody has something negative to say about you, it's often because they have nothing positive to say about themselves.

It’s strict! I actually wrote down the name of the person and the book so I can remember if they “forget” to return it.

Yes. And it’s one of the hardest things you can go through.

Been there. It’s hard one. If you love the character & think it works stick with it. Forge on because you will get published! That person will read your book, recognize your success & be reminded who they lost (you).

They’re helpful tools but books, like music or food, are subjective. I’m not a sci fi fan but I do know there are great sci fi books out there. Make your own determination.
