Well done to our Year 9 girls football team who competed against all 4 Scarborough schools in the annual tournament last week. All the games were close and the team battled hard to get a well fought win against St Augustine's, finishing 4th overall. A great effort from all!

Geography Richard from AngloAmerican was in school yesterday supporting the learning of GCSE Geography students for their unit on Resource Management, and offering a virtual reality experience of being down a modern day mine!

Filey School Year 6 Transition Event starts on the evening of Monday 30th June for parents and carers and for students from the 1st July to the 3rd July. More information to follow on a weekly basis.

Our Year 10 students enjoyed another hands-on experience of the workplace this morning thanks to our local PCSO who talked us through 'a day in the life', reflecting the variety and range of elements that policing work involves. North Yorkshire Police
