Both CJ and Olynyk are on expiring contracts so it looks like the Wizards made this move from a financial standpoint. Wizards are going to have $100M+ in cap space in ‘26-27.

I love what the Wizards have done over the past couple of years. They were brutally honest that the situation was bad, that it would take a few years to correct and they've gone about doing so, collecting assets and tradable vets. And they played all of their kids a ton.
