I voted on the Referendum with some of my grandchildren and their parents. My granddaughter wanted to see my and her mother’s Yes in on the ballot form. She then helped post our ballots. My vote today was for the next generation - they get it - pity the rest of Australia don’t.

My older brother rang me today - both our grandchildren had asked us their grandparents to vote yes for them. We were going to vote yes anyway - but we can take heart that the education & values our next generation of Australians are receiving gives hope for a bright future.
