So hugely proud to have been part of the team that put this together. Thank you Emma Crosbie and Policy@Manchester. Massively thank you to The Eve Appeal and Lynch Syndrome UK for supporting this. Still lots to be done to make sure those with Lynch get the care they need.

Want to know why humans don't have a tail? Blame a rogue "jumping gene" somewhere back in our ancestral past. Fascinating paper!

Fantastic webinar on childlessness at work ‘Working it out’ by The Full Stop Childless Community CIC this morning. Thank you for sharing your moving stories @hihellolovely @Lawro1 and Michael Hughes - we need to push for childlessness to be recognised as a diversity and inclusion issue.

This workplace inequality is even more painful given most women without children are not 'childfree by choice', as the article implies, but are involuntarily childless. Picking up slack for working parents whilst grieving the loss of one's own children is a big ask! Jody Day (Gateway Women)

Negative stereotyping of single, childless women is apparently alive and well in the workplace as well as the world. This is a hidden facet of #sexism, and contributes to under-representation of talented women in leadership roles.

So there's a particular quirk of English grammar that I've always found quite endearing: the exocentric verb-noun compound agent noun. It appears in a definite, remarkably narrow period - not more than 150, 200 years - before dying out, leaving loads of legacy words in its wake.
