We’re back & no, you’re not seeing double 😄 we’ve expanded owing to the success of the project in 2023. Today Ian & I did pre season testing of our ‘new’ (not new but new to us) R1200RT FireBikes and I’m pleased to say they’re fantastic. Lots of positive engagement with bikers.

This is an excellent idea Will and I hope it helps raise an awareness of the support received from Fire Fighters Charity charity. I’m sure team FireBike will volunteer to accompany you on sections of your travels.

Today we have teamed up with North Yorkshire Police - York & Infinity Motorcycles to provide advice on motorcycle security and advanced rider training.

A busy day for FireBike team from North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service 1st we dropped in to see the team from @ArnyRoSPA before heading out to Infinity Motorcycles for a motorcycle security event by North Yorkshire Police - York then we engaged with lots bikers at Fenton Cafe & Helmsley on post rider training & BikerDown

A change in weather made for a wet & windy day. However, we met Eve in #Masham who spoke of how her Dad tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident. She fully supports the work of FireBike & North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service & wants to help raise awareness about advanced rider training.

We met Paramedic Jade today who’s developing #DocBike Yorkshire. They aim to reduce motorcycle deaths by early engagement & providing roadside critical care by having paramedic/doctors on motorcycles. We look forward to working together in the future docbike.org

It’s a bit fresh today’s but FireBike is out and about engaging with those brave soles who can’t wait for the sunshine. We also dropped in at #seaways to support the DocBike UK team.
