Fab #aphasia communication training session with Cuckfield stroke club. Concerns at start “feeling overwhelmed” and “feeling like a twit” changed to “yes- checking back you’ve understood” and “visual aids are so important” “conversation matters!”🥰

Just completed #aphasia training session with Cuckfield #strokeassociation group. After 45 minutes member talk turned from feeling overwhelmed and what to do if cues don’t work- to importance of visual aids, conversations matter and we are equal. Better Conversations Lab principles 🥰
