Thanks to our friends Tesco Wishaw Community Champ Page and our Pr2 family for donating pumpkins 🎃 all used in our competition this year. Look how creative we can be! Winning pumpkin designs from R2 & R8. 👏 Congratulations 👏

Wow, what an amazing collection for Motherwell Foodbank at the Maranatha from Firpark Primary Clydeview Primary School and Cathedral Primary School. A big thank you to all the families who made such a fantastic amount of donations.

Last week, due to a number of factors we had an alternative ‘Wear Yellow Walk’ in aid of the fantastic work that St. Andrew's Hospice continue to do in Lanarkshire. The P7s who took part really enjoyed their walk, which they know is for such a great cause.

Well done to our lucky raffle winner of the signed Motherwell top donated by Firpark & Clydeview Parent Council. All boys and girls who have attended Willie’s football on Mondays over the year were put into a raffle to win this great prize. ⚽️🟠⚽️🟠

What a lovely treat we had at Firpark yesterday, thanks to the Firpark & Clydeview Parent Council. Every pupil got a wonka bar with one lucky winner in each class getting a golden ticket. The lucky winner got a prize which they collected from Mrs Webster but the class also got a prize too! 🍫

Today we had our first session with Project Ability as part of our ‘Campus Connections’ project to create fabric art work to be displayed in a shared area of the Campus. This is a six week project and we’ll share with you the finished product when complete. 😁

We want to say a massive thank you to Robert at Motherwell FC for our visit on Wednesday. Room 15 pupils are learning all about Motherwell and enjoyed a stadium tour as part of our learning. We were super excited to meet some of the players too! ⚽️⭐️

We would like to thank the Firpark & Clydeview Parent Council for their generosity! Thanks to them we now have a wonderful subscription to ‘Brick Borrow’ which gives us the chance to loan two sets of Lego at a time. Once the builds are complete we post it back and choose a new kit. Thanks again 😁

Since the start of January, Room 9 have been working with scientists from ClydeRiverFoundation to help develop brown trout to be ready to be released into a local river. They’ve loved their topic and worked with their scientist, Jen, to release them in the Clyde valley last Thursday.

A few weeks ago Motherwell FC very kindly sent Steelman down to Firpark PS to help celebrate our Fabulous Footballers at our Awards Ceremony. The children all had a great time!
