Since Hope and Gus were little (Hope is now 19 and Gus is 14) a favorite part of the holiday season has been looking at Christmas lights in Mankato. This year we had a great time putting a new spin on this tradition at GLOW Holiday Festival Minnesota State Fair!

Last night’s shooting in Atlanta that targeted Asian Americans and their businesses was heartbreaking and abhorrent. Tragically, it wasn’t an isolated event. It follows an unacceptable rise in discrimination and racism targeting our Asian American community.

Today we announced a timeline to end capacity restrictions on May 28 and end the state masking requirement by July 1. Minnesotans’ hard work and our nation-leading vaccination effort has put us in a strong position to safely transition toward life as we used to know it.
