Catch-up post.... Last Sunday 2nd Oct First Sight Aerial Support joined SULSAR for another training session near Woolpit, Suffolk. Another opportunity to refine things (Comms especially) and learn lots as always 👍 Our thanks again to all the SuLSaR Team.

Joint search and rescue exercise with Suffolk Fire & Rescue Service today. Foot and boat teams responded to a mock flooding incident with multiple casualties around Alton Water. We were then supported in moving the casualties to a holding centre in Ipswich by Norfolk & Suffolk 4x4 Response and EA-CAT.

Hoping to be getting back to some more training in the skies very soon. Here fellow Pilot David & I are approaching Mersea Island from the W/NW over the River Colne 👍

We were out at the weekend with some flyable weather finally!! Time to test a brand new machine & get some further coastline search training in 👍

Whilst out at the weekend we finally completed successful in-flight testing of our new Pilot Radio Headsets! Happy to report they worked very well & we have now ordered another 2 sets with 2 additional radios! 🎧👍

We were out again with SULSAR last weekend 👍 5 of the First Sight Aerial Support team Pilots spent the weekend nr. Thetford Forest with SuLSaR training modules on Sat and S&R scenarios running all day Sunday! But... too windy for us to fly this time... 😑 Thank you SULSAR !
