As SUSTAINABLE FISHERIES INITIATIVE UGANDA. we glad to have been part of this global workshop on Intergrated #Water Resources Management and Inland #fisheries, we had quite a number of engagements on how to promote Water Resources Management andinland fishing 🎣 !



Deputy Executive Secretary Coletha U. Ruhamya officiated the opening of a meeting today on the implementation of the first component of the Lake Victoria Basin IWRM Programme, supported by the JV SWECO. The meeting brought together representatives from KfW Development Bank, the LVBC , GIZ support to the East African Community, and the consultant.


NEMA, UNDP TRAIN YOUTH LEADERS In partnership with UNDP, National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) has, Tuesday 25th March, started a 3-day capacity building workshop for 12 CSO leaders under the UNDP Youth Working Group. The training aims to equip the youth with relevant GIS skills for environment monitoring.
