We had a lovely end of year party with games, snacks, activities and lollies. It was lots of fun and a great end of the year. Year 6 enjoyed their fast passes and VIP zone. Sorry about the gift of water pistols in the party bag!

Rundell class launched their new theme with a busy afternoon at the trading market to ensure we had all the items needed for our Viking Voyage. Products were made, traded and sold before our ships left. One sank the rest arrived in Britain for our new life!

A busy week for Rundell class with conjunction scavenger hunt, No Outsiders sessions and a chance to be Saxon spies to find out about Viking longboats. Phew , we are ready for the weekend!

Another busy week of education and adventures. Our praise assembly awarded certificates for star of the week, carrot winners, attendance classes and our new school councillors. Phew! Enjoy your rest at the weekend!

Today at FishtoftAcademy, we had special visitors from Rhubarb Theatre deliver an assembly about collection day ♻️🗑 The children enjoyed the performance and learnt about the impact rubbish has on wildlife #PlasticPledge

We love our amazing attendance scores with three year groups achieving 100% attendance this week. Well done year 5 for an outstanding 3rd week of being top of the tank for attendance.

National poetry day became poetry week in Rundell class with a chance to find out how poets write poems, watching poets read their own poems and writing our own poems- what a week! #NationalPoetryDay #Fishtoftflow

Rundell class had a busy afternoon combining Geography and History whilst finding out all about the Vikings who settled in our local area. They left their mark in place names and the children identifyied Viking place names using maps- even Fishtoft has a Viking origin!

Hutchinson House have achieved an amazing 3000 Carrot points making them this week's winner. The other houses are close so every Carrot counts.

Wow! Our attendance has continued to be as amazing as ever with all year groups achieving above 98%. We had three winning year groups with an incredible 99%. I wonder who will win the prize next week?

Hooray! The carrots are adding up and we have three more Carrot champions! Well done and keep it up.

A final post for the term, a massive thank you to all the parents and the local community for all their kind words, cards and presents at the end of term. It was great to see you all for one final time before a well earned rest for us all for half term.
