Being interviewed by runners who are unsure about strength training is an excellent platform to explain why I think it's so important. Brian and Damian ask the questions all runners want to know the answers to buff.ly/3NDkxIz

Very cool study. I hope to do a review for Fit For Golf blog or podcast. In short: When your mechanics are very good, strength will play a large role in your ability to produce club head speed. It doesn’t change my advice. Develop a great swing. Get really strong. 🙂

Jake Knapp, close to 200mph ball speed. He averages 184mph in competition. He gets to 190mph very easily, but hits a lot of knockdown drivers in the high 170’s to low 180’s too. He seems to hit mini driver quite a bit as well. Not sure if that gets used in the data set.

You should have a daily mobility routine. Both of these exercises should be in it. Your future self will thank you for taking care of your physical conditioning. Fitness is very very simple, but it requires daily work and good habits. 10 to 20 of each of these, daily 👍.
