🚨 BREAKING: CU announces its candidate preferences for mayor. In this unusual election, we are backing a slate of 3 candidates. Each represent a distinct style of leadership and offer voters a choice: executive experience, policy know-how, and a new generation of reform.

@AndrewCuomo has always been a champion for working New Yorkers. As Governor, he: ✅Raised wages for millions ✅Enacted the nation’s strongest paid family leave program ✅Rebuilt our infrastructure As Mayor, he’ll continue to deliver real results for New Yorkers

Here is Cuomo’s answer on Mahmoud Khalil: “This is a continuation of Trump eroding democracy, chipping away at due process. He should be released. He should be released immediately. He shouldn’t have been detained in the first place.”

“But Cuomo did not appear to commit any major fumbles and staunchly defended his record.” More from ⁦Elizabeth Kim⁩: gothamist.com/news/nyc-mayor…

Celebrating culture is one of the reasons New York is so special. Today’s Puerto Rican Day Parade was radiant, full of pride filled with a powerful sense of community. You can feel the energy of a city ready for change. 🇵🇷#cuomoformayor #andrewcuomowalkswithpuertorico

Since Mike Bloomberg has left office, New York City has struggled. He guided NYC gracefully through the recession, and got New York's working class back on their feet. For him, "The question is: Who is the best choice? To me, that choice is clear: Andrew Cuomo." #FixTheCity

I’m endorsing Andrew Cuomo for mayor because he doesn’t just talk about solving problems — he actually fixes them – from LGA, Second Avenue Subway, Moynihan Station, and so much more. nypost.com/2025/06/12/us-…

As Governor, @AndrewCuomo got big things done for New Yorkers - from passing $15 minimum wage to enacting the most comprehensive paid family leave program in the nation to delivering essential infrastructure projects. As Mayor, he will deliver again for New Yorkers!

NYT ed board says voters shouldn’t even rank Mamdani. Effectively backing Cuomo in a race that looks to be between the two of them. nytimes.com/2025/06/16/opi…

The New York Times Editorial Board opinion is an important read as voters head into the Democratic Primary. When I endorsed Andrew Cuomo, I knew it was a hard decision and one not everyone would understand. The truth has a way of catching up. I stand by my decision.

In a race coming down to Gov. Andrew Cuomo and inexperienced Zohran Mamdani, the New York Times says that, "[Cuomo] would be better for New York’s future than Mr. Mamdani." From now until election day, it's: Rank Cuomo, not Mamdani nytimes.com/2025/06/16/opi…

I was proud to do my civic duty and vote in New York City's mayoral primary today. This year's primary is not about which candidate is about the perfect choice - no mayor is perfect. Who is the best choice? To me, the choice is clear: @AndrewCuomo.
