At Flamingo Chicks, we use The Makaton Charity across our sessions and are passionate advocates of how it aids communication for everyone. This morning we delivered an Introduction to Makaton session for 527 civil servants!




Dads’ Dinner - Peer Support Parenting mentor Charlie Beswick hosted a dads’ dinner for us at Browns Restaurants, where S.E.N.D. dads connected over shared experiences. Only 9% of dads tell their boss they have a disabled child—spaces like this are vital. facebook.com/share/g/7F8cVx…

We welcomed Hannah Raynor to our latest Agents Of Change meeting! A dancer, actress and model, Hannah shared insights on inclusivity in performance. We made ribbon props, discussed how dance makes us feel, and ended with a boogie to Mehgan Trainor “I Feel Better When I’m Dancing”!
